Just as follow up, I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miatX9mkxNs I have been using this guy as reference for ages. He shows refurbishing his clutch.
He recommends changing DOT4 for ATF steering fluid. I am going to try it as I can see from the colour of my clutch fluid its wearing again. The idea is ATF gives better lubrication than DOT4 and as far as I can see DOT4 is only needed for brakes as they get hot. I will need to give it a good flush out, but I will try it and let you know.
