you are probably onto something good, think the price level on a replacement kit is reasonable and the installation seems fairly simple.
Video you sent is good, I found another good and include that for future reference, if someone else need to make a turbo swop.

Will investigate cartridge's alternatives and post here for inspiration.
These are only examples, I have not tested any of them or have any personal relationship to any of them.

The exchange option is a little bit more tricky and costly these days after Brexit, but price is attractive for sure.
Approx. 1800:- sek for a cartridge unit in Sweden is also a reasonable price

No problem Henrik, yes the Brexit thing is causing a pain. I am leaning to fitting a new cartridge, oil feed and drain pipes to mine. Not so interested in getting more power, the EUC level one mapping was fine for me,

Checked a bit yesterday and have some leakage from the oil drain pipe and as mentioned before some "movement" on the turbo wheel, leaning towards a replacement unit for ease at this stage and maybe refurbish the old unit anyway afterwards. The 8000:- sek offer for a new unit in Sweden seems like a good one.
Someone mentioned the availability of better O-rings or something for the drain pipe connection to the engine but I lost that link somehow.

No experience with the company as such, but look OK.
Kollat ”glappet” på turbo hjulet och det är nog mer än det borde, känns i övrigt också lite trött mm. Läcker olja vid retur olje slangen Inget dramatiskt eller akut behov
Hur har du bestämt att glappet är mer än normalt? När den snurrar ligger axeln på en oljehinna och det är därför normalt med visst glapp i radiell ledd. I axiell ledd så ska det glappa mindre. När det gäller oljeläckage i returen så har det normalt inget med turbon att göra, snarare att kopparbrickan vid banjoskruven behöver bytas alternativt returslangen.
Min Td5 har snurrat 35000 mil och funkar utmärkt fortfarande.

du kan säkert ha helt rätt, dessvärre är väl mekaniker kompetensen inte helt på den nivå som man skulle önska.......
Framför allt är det kanske erfarenheten också i dessa fall när man ska avgöra "glapp".....
Oljeläckage klarar jag av att indentifiera rimligt och det förefaller vara returen som läcker, slangen är bytad men
kanske bytte man inte packning eller?

Do you have a snorkel fitted? I do, and had a feeling is was causing lag on the Turbo. Today I cut a hole in the snorkel and fitted a canoe hatch, with some stainless mess over it. It really makes a difference when off! I will only use it on long trips not on my local forest tracks.
