Hello everybody,
Let me introduce myself first. My name is Ingo and I’m from the Netherlands. Currently I’m staying in Sweden, in Mölle to be more precise. In own a 88" Series 2a.
I have some trouble with the fuel supply. Yesterday I've had the fuelpump replaced, because I thought it was the problem. It seems it wasn't. I had contact with my garage in the Netherlands and they gave me some tips on what to check. I've done all that end everything in the fuel sytem up to the carburettor looks ok. So I now assume that the problem is whitin the carburettor. I tried to blow some air in the fuel inlet under pressure, to clear some possible blockade. That didn't help. I dont'n know if there still something blocks the filter in the inlet, or that my carburettor is broken. I've got some manuals with me but the only mention Solex and Zenith carburettors. However, I've got a Weber replacement...
Does anyone know a carburettor specialist in the area of Mölle (Höganäs or Helsingborg) that can help me fix the problem or fit a new carburettor if nescessary?
I'm looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
Ingo Aarssen
