My name is Gordon and with my partner Val, I have recently created a Land Rover Wiki, into which I have added details of the SLRK into the directory. The Wiki is international, and is open for anyone to use, without registering, or to add Land Rover related information if you wish to register.
As the Wiki was only launched 4 weeks ago, there have only been a few articles and pages added, but I am aware of someone who will be adding a 200TDi conversion for a Series Landy and someone else who is doing a chassis and bulkhead replacement.
Adding this kind of information is valuable for others who may be considering or need to do the same job. It can be from replacing a headlamp to doing an engine change.
The directory has attracted the most activity, with a good selection of information added and the number of visits has risen from 100/week during week one to 1000/week during week 4.
I lived in Sweden myself between 1999 and 2003 in Linköping, and bought a Defender 110 TD5 CSW from a dealer in Nyköping. That was a fantastic vehicle and I was sorry to see it go.
My partner and I now have a several ex-military series vehicles, some which are used daily and we display at shows and we have a few that we are restoring.
I hope that the Wiki can be added to by the Forum members to record dealers and suppliers in Sweden as this will be useful for people who live in Sweden, or are travelling through Sweden and need parts or assistance on their Land Rover adventures.
